For the past 6 years I have been an avid gardener. I continue to expand my raised beds to accommodate my passion for growing ingredients to can salsa. Even though this year’s growing season was a late start, I still ended with a great harvest.
40+ lbs. of tomatos and hot peppers.
Then the fun begins. Hand chopping all of the salsa ingredients.
Cooking, boiling and sealing canned salsa.
I find this to be a beautiful sight. Canned homegrown goodness.
